Andrew Meyer Two days ago, on Monday, 17 September, 21-year-old University of Florida student journalism student, Andrew Meyer was at a public meeting held at his univerisity in which Senator John Kerry (Massachusetts) spoke. Meyer stepped up to the mic and asked Kerry three questions: Why was he so quick to concede to Bush in 2004? Why, if he opposed the war in Iraq, was Kerry not moving to impeach Bush? Had Kerry, like President Bush, been a member of the Yale University secret society, Skull and Bones? (George W. Bush, his father, George H.W. Bush and John F. Kerry were all members).
Where these approriate questions? Did he politely wait for Mr. Kerry to answer each question? Did Meyer receive an appropriate reply?
The police immediately pounced on Andrew Meyer, cut of his microphone, dragged him to the back of the room, held him down, handcuffed him and then, Taserred him. As horrific as watching five or six armed policemen and women send high voltage electricity through one unarmed student, more shocking still was the reaction from Sen. Kerry and from the student audience. Kerry continued talking, unphased and signed autographs afterwards. The students sat complacently. See for yourself:
